Handmade Clothing & Sewing ~ Sewn to Order

I’m not taking custom sewn to order work on currently. I’ve made a decision that I won’t be taking on any more sewn customs for the foreseeable future, apart from nappies which Amber makes for Luscious Little Somethings and other than for those who have already paid a deposit to go on the waiting list or have a custom sewn to order in progress. I want to focus more on dyeing materials and also if I do any sewing, I’ll sew for my own girls, create bespoke items for them only and take time then to draft up my own patterns to sell and license instead.

I’d rather use any sewing I do to as a designer than as a seamstress basically. Sewing for customers is not something I am finding easy to do working around Niamh who is going through a particularly intense stage of separation anxiety.

Premium Fabrics
We can source premium designer fabrics from Nature’s Fabrics, Ottobre, Etsy and Spoonflower. There’s an additional surcharge for these as generally premium materials cost 2-3 more. It’s the same sort of charge for fabrics designed especially for you, though I’m still working out wash tests to check fading on spoonflower fabrics.
Full garment using premium fabrics only: +£15 extra
Limited trim / contrasting premium fabrics (e.g. hood and sleeves): +£10 extra
Minimum trim premium fabric (e.g. sleeves or hood): +£5 extra
