Luscious Little Nappies

Luscious Little Nappies come in a variety of configurations and are available as customs or semi-customs. You can purchase them from the Luscious Little Shop in the Luscious Little Nappy section.

 

The Luscious Little Nappy by Luscious Little Somethings are stunning cloth nappies available in a range of fabrics, dye techniques and printed patterns. You can upgrade to a ++Super Wetter as a pocket fitted nappy or with lay-in inserts. We also offer an Ai2 version.

The nappies are Made by Amber and Beth Sutherland using fabrics supplied or dyed especially for you by Beth and using Amber Jessopp’s exclusive LLS nappy design.


It’s the same superb reliability as before, but now even more Luscious with more choice!

Choose from a range of fabrics for the outer and inners layers, dyed in the Luscious Little Somethings Colourways.

You can expect approximately a 10% shrinkage rate on undyed fabrics, mainly in the vertical direction.

The inserts are made of layers of fabric and are contoured snap-in or lay-in insert.

You have the option of a pocket fitted or a nappy with snap-in inserts.

Nappies are worked on in rounds or small batches and available turned and topstitched or with serged edges.

It’s possible to get a Medium Trim (Rise 16.5″, Waist 15″), a Medium Long (Rise 20″, Waist 15″) or a Large Trim (Rise 18.5″, Waist 18.5″). The Extra Large is custom sized generally.

  • Small Waist - 12″ unstretched, 16″ stretched on tightest snaps, and 18″ unstretched, 22″ stretched on loosest snaps.
  • Medium Waist - 14″ unstretched, 18″ stretched on tightest snaps, and 20″ unstretched, 24″ stretched on loosest snaps.
  • Large Waist - 16″ unstretched, 20″ stretched on tightest snaps, and 22″ unstretched, 26″ stretched on loosest snaps.

   

Fabric Options / Choices:

Outer Fabric Layer:

    • Dyed OBV (70% Bamboo, 28% Organic Cotton, 2% Poly)
    • Wool Interlock (95% Merino, 5% Spandex)
    • Knit Print (stretchy)

Core & Insert Fabrics combinations or extra boosting:

  • Bamboo Heavy Fleece (70% Bamboo, 30% Organic Cotton)
  • Bamboo Stretch Fleece (70% Bamboo, 25% Organic Cotton, 5% Spandex)
  • Zorb II

We use a combination of Bamboo Heavy Fleece and Zorb II for greatest absorbency. Nappies have 2x insert shaped cores of your preferred fabrics, plus 2x tri-layered insert, topped with an additional layer.

The Super Wetter Nappies, come with an extra booster insert, topped with an additional layer. They are packed to the limit with bamboo heavy fleece and zorb.

Inner Layer Fabric:

  • Undyed OBV(default option)
  • Cuddlesoft or Minkee (white or colour coordinated)

Our fabrics are certified organic and hold the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. The bamboo heavy fleece is the thickest available at 400gsm and the bamboo stretch fleece is our latest adaptation, providing an amazing fit!
